The Personnel Commissions Association of Southern California (PCASC) is pleased to be able to provide two scholarships for the California School Personnel Commissioners Association (CSPCA) Merit Academy in the amount of $630 each. The 2018 Merit Academy will be held at: Downey USD. The dates are: January 20, February 10, March 10, April 14 and May 19, 2018. In order to apply for a scholarship, it is necessary to complete an application packet. Included in the packet is an application and a Financial Need Statement. The Application and Financial Need Statement must be completed in full and returned, along with a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s current employer, to PCASC in care of the committee member listed below. Each applicant will be evaluated on how well he/she meets the following criteria:
The Scholarship Review Committee will review application materials and inform each applicant whether or not they have been selected to receive the PCASC scholarship.
